LCT Members & Woodturning Friends,
Unfortunately, we have to cancel this Friday’s LCT Demo at Savannah Technical College. Dan Lee was contacted Wednesday afternoon by College staff. At issue was a late scheduling conflict with Savannah Tech’s security staff who were unable to meet the State’s statutory security requirements at their White Bluff Campus for Friday evening’s event. It was decided we could not relocate on short notice so we have to cancel the event.
We apologize to our members, our woodturning friends and especially to our invited demonstrator, Ed Malesky, and his wife, Sunnie. Ed is a super talented woodturning artist and we will work to get him back into our schedule – hopefully, later this year.
Reminder: We are on vacation in June but will be back in July. You should expect to receive a newsletter / communication from the board in late June.
Regards… Dan Lee (for the board)
